[SunHELP] Cups problems

I have been having problems with cups from sunfreeware.org, I have 
installed it twice but when I try to use one of the options on the web 
backend. I just get a blank page, I have played with the permissions but 
it doesn't make any difference. If I remove the cgi files I get an error 
so it is reading them.
I don't have a clue why it's doing this, I have already sent a message 
to the cups newsgroup and the sunfreeware contact but I have had not had 
a reply

any clues anyone ?
