Standard Unix logs are handled by syslogd.
Look at syslogd configuration file, /etc/syslog.conf, to see where the logs
will be written.

Solaris usually writes in /var/adm/messages.

Maybe the *NIX I'm used to (Linux) logs more than average, but I've
noticed
that my /var/log/syslog file on my E450 rarely logs to that file and
there
	isn't a /var/log/messages file either.

Am I missing something in the way of logs?
