Hi Paul,
Few files you need to setup
/etc/hosts
/etc/hostname.xxx
/etc/defaultrouter
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/netmasks
/etc/nodename
/etc/nsswitch.conf
You have to create defaultrouter and resolv.conf the rest you just need to
modify
Hope this help

Subject: [SunHELP] Solaris Network Setup
Hi All,
We are new to Unix and Solaris. Just bought a U60 with
Solaris 9 installed.
Would like to know what we need to do to set up this
machine to a router so we can get on the internet. Was
able to get an Ultra 5 working a few years ago but now
do not remember what files need to be edited etc.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
