You need to look at:

1.	Network between client and server.
2.	Your internal network where server is located. Speed of your switches /
NICs. Speed mismatch?
3.	Load on your box CPU,  Memory  and number of open files.
4.	Your application performance and tuning.

These are just a few to begin with.

What are the tuning parameters which I need to look at if my website is
slow. I am running Iplanet Web Server . Any pointers to this is
