when you unplug the keyboard on a space that is up and running, the
sparc is supposed to go to the ok prompt. this is normal.

to run the ultra 10 without a keyboard,
1. shutdown the ultra 10
2. disconnect the keyboard
3. power on the ultra 10

if the ultra 10 is functioning properly, it will boot normally.

after it has booted, you can telnet in to the ultra 10.

you can also connect a dumb terminal, windows machine, sun machine to
the ultra 10 via ttya (serial port one).

if there are boot problems (such as to fsck the slices) a terminal can
be used. you can also install os, applications, etc. via a terminal.
applications can be installed with telent.
