[SunHELP] JRE & JDK

I'm tryin to install O9i Rel 2 on Solaris 8(install recommend patch alrady).
I saw in installation guide about prerequisite of solaris should be
'UPDATE 5 (07/01)'  
how can I know what update i have in my solaris 8.

and where I can find jre 1.1.8_12, 
afer I've search in java.sun.com
I didn't see such version. 

if anybody have experience about this 
please suggest, is that possible to use the other version of 
jre to success install o9i? or where I can find exactly version of required
jre?
