Hi,
You need to check the ok prompt "printenv" boot-device and "devalias" on
the device link.
Have to make sure the boot link is corrct. next have to copy the boot file
to the first sector of the hdd to make it bootable by using "installboot"
command.Type "man installboot" for info. Hope this can help.
Cheers,
johnlee.

Subject: [SunHELP] change disk position
Hello, I have a sparc UNIX solaris 2.6 with a single external 4Gb scsi hard
disk, this disk had a problem and I changed it with an internal 4G scsi hard
disk, all this after making the backup of all file systems into the tape,
after installing the new hard disk, I made the restore backup, now when i
start-up the server it sends the message
"can't stat /dev/rdsk/c0t3d0s0",
this is because the /dev, /device and others file refer to the last disk
that was on target 3 (c0t3d0) and now the real target is (c0t0d0). What can
I do? do i have to change or add o delete some file?
thanks for your help
Mery
