IIRC, there is a seperate package from DJB you have to install to get
/service to load it's services... Daemontools maybe? Anyhow... I
remember installing this tool and finding it somewhat daunting only
because it was different than what I was used to (SysV init). LWQ is a
good document, but I found it better to own the book on Qmail

Also... I remember finding an init.d start-stop script for Qmail
somewhere on the 'net. I would suggest looking for that, I never had any
problems with init.d as far as reliability is concerned.
