Which limitation do you mean? As far as 2.6 goes for me, I haven't
run into trouble using up to 400GB consecutively (usually as external 
RAID units, but with a single ufs partition). There may be trouble, 
though, to boot from partitions larger than 2GB. I have been told there 
are patches for this.
