Hi there,

I have looked through the archives, in particular to an issue back in April 2001
regarding using CompactFlash I as an IDE device on solaris.

The issue was failure to boot with an existing IDE device attached (HDD). In my
case, I was trying to jumpstart a sparc box onto an ide drive and the flash was
in the chain. In this case, no ide devices were detected to install Solaris
onto. And the error:

pcipsy0: ino c invalid

prints out several times.

In a probe-ide, the devices show up. In fact, the SAN DISK shows up as being
removable, could this be the cause that Solaris is failing to detect the disk
and stuffs everything up ?

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Brad
