   Don't laugh, but have you checked to be sure that you have a fiber cable
connecting the upper drive tray to your Fiber Board, like the one that
connects the lower tray?
   There's slots for four GBICs on the Fiber Board, two for each Drive Tray.
The manual discusses which GBICs are for which Trays.
