If you are using Veritas volume manager you can use vxrelayout, vxevac or
vxassist.
If you are using solstice disksuite, you can add a third mirror on the new
disks and move that way. Both are documented in SunSolve, I can find
references if you wish (but I expect from your crossposting to SSA managers
you will have them by now...)

It's not a good idea to have root on the SSAs, ditto I expect with the
A5200s unless you are clever with split loops on the FCAL.

You may find your A5200 arrays are slower than your SSAs for multi user
small file random access due to a smaller number of spindles. We have
retained 3 SSAs (90 spindles) for a samba server for PC files and it
outperforms a T3 pair (16 spindles) used for the same purpose.
