[SunHELP] tmpfs vs. swapfs

Dear listers,
I'm confusing in RAM-based file system of solaris 7.
in /etc/vfstab said
'swap' has file system type to be tmpfs. At mount point /tmp

while I've read a book said 'swap space' 
has file system type to be 'swap'

And when I used swap -l, everything said above appears as
swap. I don't which what kind of swap of each fs. type.?
Someone please suggest me.
