[SunHELP] Monitoring

For me, I install SSH to my every server, and 
ssh client [ from secure CRT ] with Public-key authentication
every time i transfer data between s<->s, s<->c i use ssh
tunnel my data.

What is the best way to carry client specific data to server for monitoring?
There are some free tools that use tftp but i know that it is not good for
security. Do you have any idea or method to carry client specific data to
server such a secure way? I need follow-up steps about that..
