[SunHELP] sun E220R network speed slow - /etc/system problems ?

Hi,

  I have a E220R. For the past few months, I am seeing
that the network traffic speed from and to this
machine is very slow. Where as other machines in the
same local network transfer speeds at 100 Mbps speed.
Ours is a small network and this machine has only one
nic card. 

This seems to be occuring after I changed /etc/system
file on this machine for Oracle db tuning. Oracle DB
perfomance improved but we are seeing these network
issues.
