[SunHELP] library mismatch after installing forte compiler

I have had similar problems on my network after upgrading Forte. Turns out
that some of my developers were pointing to the wrong directories in their
LD_LIBRARY_PATH. They were specifying the /opt/SUNWspro/SC5/lib directory
instead of /opt/SUNWspro/WS6U1/lib. ld.so.1 and libCstd.so.1 are definitely
different between the original Forte and Forte Update 1/2. Hope this helps.

Subject: [SunHELP] library mismatch after installing forte compiler
I believe the problem is that forte has upgraded some system libraries. no
when I run binaries
compiled with it on other machines, core files mismatch in dbx.
can anybody confirm is forte does upgrade libraries?
I discovered this while using dbx:
core file header read successfully
Reading ld.so.1
dbx: core file read error: address 0xef7ffe0c not available
dbx: warning: could not initialize librtld_db.so.1 -- trying
libDP_rtld_db.so
Make sure this is the same version of Solaris where the core dump
originated.
See also `help core mismatch'.
program terminated by signal SEGV (Segmentation Fault)
0xef5a41b8: <bad address 0xef5a41b8>
and librtld_db.so.1 is different on the compiling machine.
I'm new to solaris and I dont know how to use the pkg tools to find out what
to do.
TIA
Jake
