[SunHELP] .profile on ksh

hello,
I have a question re .profile files for Korn shell.
The user is running two verions of Peoplesoft applications
on the same machine. They both share the same oracle
database. But apparently, the environment variables are
quite different in Oracle8 for peoplesoft 7 and Psoft 8.
The question is, can there be 2 .profile files for user
oracle, (one for Psoft7 env variables, and one for psoft8
env variables).
Is there any workaround other than telling the user to
manually set the env variables for oracle, depending on the
psoft version he is running?
