[SunHELP] LCD/keyboard controllers for Suns?

Our Compaq racks have nice kvms together with a neat foldout flat panel
screen + keyboard. Don't see any reason why this shouldn't be transferrable
to someone else's racks.
HP do a thing called a secure web console. It's a web enabled serial port
essentially kinda like a JetdirectEX. Accessible through any standard web
browser. Some security but not spectacular. I've got a few in action here
and they seem ok. They will send a break down the line if the power gets
reset so watch for that.

Are you happy with them?

Do you need some sort of PS2 <-> Sun keyboard/mouse adapters, or does HP
make somethign that'll plug right in to those ports? (Or does it communicate
solely over the network?)

Oh, sure, but anything beats the 2-3U Lightwave ServerSwitches _plus_ the
vertical height of a 17" display!

Goes without saying...

The Lightwave ServerSwitches have five sets of 13W3, Sun mouse, and Sun
keyboard ports coming in, plus one set going out; the active device is
selected with "UP" and "DOWN" buttons on the front and an LCD shows which
system is actve (as does just wiggling the mouse!). They work all right, but
they require that darn CRT monitor. If I could find a rack-mounted LCD.
that'd be good, too, but my belief is that most of those already have the
pointer built in.

Sounds like just the ticket! What's it called?

Well, the Ultra 10's have 13W3, and so do the E3x00's, but I think the
420s have VGA. We got adapters anyway, since the Lightwave devices have 13W3
in.
Thanks, by the way! Anyone else?
