This is a fairly common practice where you want one machine to talk to
two separate networks. I had set this up with some Lucent Naviscore
projects with an E450 and a QFE card. One network was internal with an
ATM gateway that needed to talk via its IP interface to our Sybase
database on another network. Therfore, had to build a "bridge" and the
E450 was it. However, beware of security implications when doing such
things.

Hi Folks,
I just want to get comments from you all, as I argue
with colleagues that we could setup Solaris server as
Multihomed server as long as it has two ethernet card
or QFE cards on it.
The question Is it really tru or slightly ?
Thanks
HR
