Hi ,
I have been having this problem for several months now
and have run out of ideas.
Have any of you seen anything like this before ??
I am running reports on an Oracle databasae server and
sending the output to a printer hosted on an Oracle client.
many of the prints never arrive at the printer and when I check
the spool directory on the client I see something like this

-rw------- 1 root other 0 Feb 10 09:30 1205-0
-rw------- 1 root other 3 Feb 10 09:30 1205-2
-rw------- 1 root other 0 Feb 10 09:40 1250-0
-rw------- 1 root other 131011 Feb 10 09:40 1250-2

When I check the /var/lp/logs/requests file I notice that the
Successful prints all have numbers in the range , say , 200-300,
and all the failed prints have numbers in the range 1200-1300.
How can there be 2 ranges for 1 sender ??
I have moved the printers to another client and the problem follows
	them.
I would be grateful for any contributions.
