Hi Paul

Now I understand.

>From memory, early versions of the SS10 PROM did not support the TGX card
which was common on SS5, can you confirm PROM version (either from label on
prom 525-XXXX-XX) or what the initial message is on the TTY screen?

Peter,

I can get to an OK prompt because it accepts ok commands, like
power-off. I cannot see the OK prompt, but I know that doing <stop><a>
gets me to a working OK as power-off works. (ie I'm doing it blind)

Previously I have had it connected to a serial terminal and could use
the type 5 keyboard as stdin and the tty as stdout.

Note that I have also done a <stop><n> at power up to reset the nvram to
defaults.

Paul
