I have an Ultra60 with sunOS 5.6, and a tape storage DLT8000. The process of
backup using `tar` works straight,
but i wanted to use compression 2:1, and im not safe of the ufsdump
arguments.
Could be posible?

/usr/sbin/ufsdump 0udbsf 98000 126 1800 /dev/rmt/0nc /

These parameters from SuperDLTtape.com documentation:
Recording format 208 track serial serpentine
recording density 98 kbpi
track density 416 tracks/in
encoding method RLL 2,7
data compression dlz

tape length on box cartridge tape
1,828 ft / 557m

thanks for advanced.
sorry for my terrible english.
