Doesn't support SNMP?  What sort of network hardware are you running?  Most can be upgraded with a management module (cisco, 3com, Cabletron, etc...)

If that's not an option then you can either replace them with managed devices or load SNMP on the servers.  Not a perfect solution but then it's better than nothing :D
