[SunHELP] Sparc IPX RAM question

Greetings All,
I've acquired a Sparc IPX box which needs some RAM & a NVRAM chip. The
hardware info pages at SunHelp list the RAM as "4M or 16M x 33 72-pin
SIMMs". Would any PC 72-pin SIMMs of this size work (ie Fast Page; EDO;
60ns/70ns)? I'm assuming that the odd number of bits means the IPX does
parity checking, right? Also, is the NVRAM chip different from that of a
Sparc 1+/2 (they're both sun4c arch, though different sized boards; not sure
whether clock speed would matter)?
