Your right, attacking terrorists with with swift, violent and merciless
retaliation wont stop them but it sure as hell will make them think twice.
The Israeli's have used this methodology very effectively.
American isolationist pacifism in WWII cost our allies tens of thousands of
lives. We have taken the peace loving person approach for years while our
embassy personnel have been held hostage, assassinated, kidnapped tortured and
hung , multiple embassies bombed, two military barracks bombed, a naval ship
bombed. Over a 1000 Americans dead. Now there are 5000 American dead on our
own soil. At what point do you draw the line Bob? When your afraid to go to
a baseball game, visit the Capitol in Washington, put your daughter on an
airplane or maybe just going to the grocery store?
