[SunHELP] HD 20 Gb installed on Solaris 2.6

dear  all

i  need  help ...
i have Ultra-10 & i want install my HARDISK (20 Gb) on
Solaris 2.6.  But the OS just detect 7,89 Gb for my
HD.
when i want format the HD (20 Gb) there is a message :
"Cannot format this drive. Please use your
Manufacturer supplied formatting utility".
Why the OS (Solaris 2.6) detect my HD only 7,89 Gb.

But when i installed in Solaris 7 & Solaris 8,
everything is fine ... my HD (20 Gb) can detect full 
(about 18,9 Gb) ...
anykind  patches (for solaris 2.6)  or anything  that 
i can do to solve this problem.
just fyi,
i use Seagate Barracuda ATA, ST320414A
