[SunHELP] mail to another SMTP

We have a lot of servers that send output of crons, applications, etc to the 
admins. Is it posible to send the mail without using a MTA on each server? 
For example, use an external SMTP server (the main SMTP server), or maybe 
have Qmail, but not started, so that when a mail is sent it starts a smtp 
connection, and then stops.
