Hello everyone,

I just have a quick question.  When building a program on Solaris which
would be more recommended?  Building a program on Solaris 2.6 and running it
on Solaris 8 or building a program on Solaris 8 and running it on Solaris
2.6.  My main question is here about compatibility, is building on Solaris
"forward" or "backwards" compatible?
