hello,
can anyone help me out in driver attachment to the kernel.i have written =
a device driver with COM port interfaces.while installing driver using =
add_drv this warns " devfsadm: successfully added to the system but =
fails to attach".since its not a self idetifying device i have written =
the device.conf file and made it a sysbus class of driver.i tried =
without the device.conf file also.but i get the same problem. is that =
the configuration file matters for the driver attachment. Or the attach =
routine of the driver makes this selection. Pls help me on this =
issue.Thanx in advance.
