[SunHELP] Ultra 2 Woes

I just received an Ultra 2, however, it refuses to give me an OBP
console of any kind.

I've tried using my monitor and Type6 keyboard+mouse, but when I hit the
power switch and the machine comes up, there are no lights that flash
on the keyboard and no video signal to the monitor. 

Now, I have the Ultra 2 hooked up to a notebook with a null-modem cable
(that works fine with an Ultra 10), when I pull up minicom and turn on
the Ultra 2, I get a single character echoed back at me, and nothing
else. 

The machine appears to function correctly, as the fans come on just fine
and the hard drive spins up and I can insert/eject CDS but I need to 
reconfigure this machine for use as a desktop, and I figured that
getting to an OBP prompt would be a good way to do this.

Is there a way to reset the machine via Jumpers? I am missing something
with my serial console setup? 

(Serial Port A -> DB25 null modem adapter -> DB25 to DB9 cable -> notebook)
