[SunHELP] display ..

Hi all ... 
I have a slight problem with my Sun sparc machine ...
I have an Ultra 10 with sol 2.8 loaded ... 
my partner yesrterday was doing something on the machine 
he was running netscape navigator ... 
and the machine suddenly hung ...
so he rebooted the machine which was absolutely unnecessary ... 
now the problem is that my Xserver is not starting ... 
n i cannot log onto the visual mode ... 
nebody ne suggestion please help ..
