Don't you think deleting the partitions is the faster way to make the data
on the disk inaccessible?

check out fmthard - there's an option to use a file -
	/dev/null works I believe.

Is there a quick way to wipe the information off a HD in a sparc? I
was
asked recenetly by a friend who works at a scrapper if there was a
quick
way, it looks like they are going to get a bunch of sparcs but the
HD's
need to be wiped before they remove them from the warehouse where
they are
	currently stored.
