[SunHELP] linuxisms

Coming from a linux background, I've been trying to adjust to a Solaris
lifestyle :-) I've gotten most things working alright, with one exception.
In Linux, I was able to start up two different X sessions at once, one on :0,
and the other on :1. I used that to have one log in locally, and the other
on our engineering network, running different display managers and whatnot,
and would then switch back and forth between them using cntl-alt-f7 and
cntl-alt-f8. After reading man page after man page, it seems like Solaris
can only bind one session of X per video card (not allowing "virtual
terminals"). Is that true? I'm running, variously, solaris 5 through 7, on
boxes from ss20's to ultra60's. My most "pressing" need is for one of my
engineers to be able to keep his local login to his sun box for some tools we
use, and also be able to log into a linux box I have setup, to be able to
test some other stuff out. The reverse works fine (log on locally to linux,
remote logon to sunbox), but I can't quite figure out how to do it on a
sparc. If I'm way off base and/or stupid, please feel free to tell me so :-)
Thanks,
