Well, we just got this brand spanking new Netra X1 for playing around with.
Yesterday I had done a bunch of configuration stuff to change the user's
shells and what not. The mistake I made was to define root's shell as
/sbin/bash, because it doesn't exist...dang fatfinger!!! Anyway, upon login
I get a "no shell" error and can't login as root. Yikes!!! Ok, so to modify
the /etc/passwd for root I have to boot cdrom -s, mount the root f/s and
edit. Well, so now we start having problems....since there is NO CDROM.
Has anyone added a cdrom to a Netra X1? Is there any other way to boot a
mini root w/o cdrom?
Thanks,
Brandon Yu
