Yes, it is possible. Here is how:
ifconfig <INT> plumb
ifconfig <INT> <IP> netmask <NM> up
ifconfig <INT> unplumb
snoop -d <INT>
<INT> = interface.
<IP> = IP address.
<NM> = netmask.

how can u put a network card in promiscious mode without assigning it an ip
address. is it possible to do in solaris if yes then how ???
