[SunHELP] Solaris 2.6->2.8 upgrade?

This should be simple, but how do I upgrade from 2.6 to 2.8 without losing
my existing partitions and data?

When I boot from the CD, it wants to format a disk for the installer.

I saw a reference to an "upgrade" program in a FAQ on the web, but can't
find anything called "upgrade" in my (current) filesystem.

Is the SunInstall "Upgrade" obsolete? (another reference I found).
