Edit /etc/inet/hosts (change the ip address in there). Edit
/etc/netmasks if appropriate. Thats it.
/etc/hostname.device should contain the hostname
/etc/inet/hosts should have an ip->hostname mapping

I used the ifconfig command and it worked....but after a reboot the old
network info came back again.
Any ideas? Thanks,
