[SunHELP] A quick question

Hi sunners
I have a small issue which im sure with all ur
knowledge can be resolved.
Im upgrading a E5000 running Solaris 2.6 to Sol 8 .
With ODS a multipack, two SSA's.Before i upgrade i
disconnect the SSA's
When the upgrade is completed the box comes up with
the multipack having c0..
But when i fire the SSA one at at time 
1.Bring up SSA
2.do boot -rv
The first SSA which had c1..comes up as c2..
As a result of which im not able to bring up the
Metadevices..
So will be great if any 1 can shed light on this
