I second that. I run an ES40 at a research site that's currently kicking a
12 CPU E6500 into the weeds. We're getting 8-1 better throughput from the
Alpha vs the SUN.

We are currently looking at a similar solution with Alpha ES40's and
Oracle 8, although a somewhat bigger DB (around 40 GB).
