[SunHELP] /etc/init.d/lp

Hey guys, It's been a while but I really need some help.
I have some routes in /etc/init.d/lp that have always been read after an
init 6.
Someone had a bad power off the other day (threw a switch or something).
Now my network card doesn't work on a normal boot. I have to run "lp" in 
a shell after startup. Any ideas?  I am not subscribed so please reply to:
