i have a network based on nis serving over 500 users. all based on solaris 7

my problem is that every so often with one user he cannot log into one machine.
all others are fine. with that machine we have to stop and start ypbind and
nscd before he
can log into that host.

no other users are affected in any way. /etc/nscd.conf is the same as all
other hosts.
his nis entries are ok.

basically we only use nis for logging into hosts (password authentication)

any where i can start looking to solve this???

i have already looked at his nis entries, nscd.conf but haven't noticed
anything
unusual
