We use 10/99 according to the field guys, I also agree that Sun should have this listed so I'm going to drop an email to our Sun Technical Account Manager and ask him where to get that info, I'll CC you as well.

We could just try the latest we have (5/98), but there must be somewhere
that Sun list online what is the minimum version for a particular hardware.

e.g. I know you can run 2.5.1 on the Ultra 5, but would not expect the early
versions to work, so which version would you need?

Are you limited with options on this, can't you just use the latest hardware
release for 2.6 ?

Alternatively I have a few t1 100's out in the field, I can see what release
we use if you'd like !?

Thanks for the info. I too looked on the data sheet, but wonder if that is a
"It will work with Solaris 2.6" blanket statement as opposed to specific
version. I have tried various places on the Sun site without finding any
reference to which hardware is supported on any of the versions (for Sparc).
I would have expected it to be there somewhere.

I guess it is does not need a particular hardware version.  It will work
with vanilla 2.6.  I have check ed the marketing bulletin and
