FBCONFIG Command

To find out which graphics cards you have installed, issue the following
command from a terminal window:

/usr/sbin/fbconfig -list

If you have a Sun Ultra or Sun Blade system with one of the following
graphics cards, you must change the default color depth to 24-bit true
color with the appropriate command:

Card Indicated by Command (must be superuser)

Sun Creator3D (old)
SUNWffb_config [2]
ffbconfig -deflinear true

Sun Creator3D (new)
SUNWffb_config
ffbconfig -deflinear true -g 1.1

Sun Elite3D
SUNWafb_config
afbconfig -deflinear true -g 1.1

Sun Expert3D
SUNWifb_config
fbconfig -deflinear true -g 1.1

PGX32
TSIgfxp_config
pgxconfig -res 1280x1024 -depth 24

Mach_64
SUNWm64_config
m64config -res 1152x900 -depth 24

If this command returns an error try:
m64config -res 800x600 -depth 24
