<P>Hi,</P>
<P>Unless u are using CacheFS.. this problem shudnt arise.</P>
<P>NFS is a stateless protocol. Client doenst keep an iota of information with it.. all transactions are made then and there on the NFS server.</P>
<P>So unless u are using CacheFS shuldnt arise. In case of CacheFS you can tune certain parameters when configuring the filesystem. see CacheFS PSD doc on sunsolve.<BR></P></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>>Is there anyway to make an nfs clients read changes to an nfs share
<DIV></DIV>>right after the changes take effect, without remounting the share? It
<DIV></DIV>>seems like it took nearly a day for the changes to be noticed by the
<DIV></DIV>>clients after files were either changed or added to the share. I have a
<DIV></DIV>>feeling I can put something in dfstab or possibly vfstab on client but I
<DIV></DIV>>can't find anything that says so.
<DIV></DIV>>Thanks
