[SunHELP] Updating nfs filesystem

Is there anyway to make an nfs clients read changes to an nfs share
right after the changes take effect, without remounting the share?  It
seems like it took nearly a day for the changes to be noticed by the
clients after files were either changed or added to the share.  I have a
feeling I can put something in dfstab or possibly vfstab on client but I
can't find anything that says so.
