[SunHELP] Performance issue.

This sounds potentially like DNS/routing or other network related issue.
Check connectivity to your DNS server, check routing is config'd correctly.
I'd also be inclined to check the status of the NIC using lanadmin. If this
is a NIS client are the servers available and contactable?

Did you check syslog.log or run dmesg to see if there are any hardware
problems being reported?

Adam,

There is no other issues with this machine recently. It is common to every
one either on a anotehr Solaris machine or on a NT workstation.

There is no delay when I try to telnet to other machine(Solaris or HP).

Is the login delay common to all users or just your machine ?

The 20 minute delay, is that for the whole process of logining in or just to
get a login prompt ?

Are there any other issues with this box, relational or not ?
