[SunHELP] FIFO (named pipe) buffer size

Is there any kernel parameter to tune the named pipe (FIFO) buffer size
created with "mknod p" or "mkfifo" ?

My goal is to increase the size of each read/write operation : currently,
when I issue a read()/write() on the pipe with a 200k buffer, the read()
syscall returns with 10k chunks.
