Hi Tim,

Have a look at docs.sun.com. Read the Platform Notes: The hme FastEthernet
Device Driver. You will find the necessary info to make the changes
permanent. You need to set the parameters in your /etc/system file.

Regards

Subject: [SunHELP] autonegotiate on gigabit card

I just installed gigabit cards on a few 220R's I have. By default they
are set to auto_negotiate, but my switch does not support this. I set
autonegotiate off.. then everything works fine until I reboot. Do I
need to put my ndd commands in a startup script? The documentation leads
me to believe that once I change the setting, it will stay that way.

Thanks,
Tim
