I haven't been reading this thread, so this may have been already 
suggested. IPF is my firewall of choice, and it compiles/works 
beautifully on Sun/Sparc and Sun/Intel. There is a great faq at 
http://www.obfuscation.org/ipf/ipf-howto.txt and it can be downloaded 
from http://coombs.anu.edu.au/~avalon/ip-filter.html. I have had 
nothing but success with this extremely configurable, reliable and 
secure FREE firewall. It can do everything (as far as what I've seen) 
that commercial software firewalls (such as CheckPoint) or commercial 
hardware firewalls (Linksys Firewalls) can do. It's a really excellent 
package, I can't say enough good things about it. Anyhow, that's my 
humble opinion.

Web interfaces gives me the creeps, especially on firewalls. They seem
to always be so damn broken that they are the biggest problem.
