Ya silly moo. :)

This is called "single user mode".

boot -s from the OK prompt, or "reboot -- -s" from the root prompt in
Solaris.

For all the options you can pass to Solaris when booting, checkout
the boot manpage...

Brian.

Subject: [SunHELP] boot as root

Solaris question:
In linux, when there are problems (crackers and so) we can always boot lilo
with options so that we can have a root console (with no password) without
network.
Is there something like this in the boot options in solaris?

TIA

but someone told I had to do it.
